Dr. Paney’s research interests include aural skills instruction, technology in learning, and teaching primary music. You can read his research in top music journals including Journal of Research in Music Education, Journal of Music Teacher Education, Psychology of Music, and International Journal of Music Education. He is currently President of the Southern Division of the Organization of American Kodály Educators, President of Kodály Mississippi, and serves on the editorial board of the Kodály Envoy.
